【Textile】 A hemp 100% 80-count high-density plain weave fabric experimentally produced by a specialized linen weaving mill. It uses a fine yarn that is close to the limit of what can currently be woven in Japan. Even finer yarns exist in French vintage, but the reason this cannot be replicated in Japan is said to be due to differences in loom speed and humidity. What's remarkable about this fabric is its ability to push these boundaries, using hemp that is less prickly. We added bio-processing to achieve a texture that looks like it's 100 years old.
【Design】 Vertical tuck embroidery and lace embroidery were added to both sides of a simple regular collar shirt in Kiryu. The subtle detail that appears when you raise your arms is exquisite.
