【Textile】 This is a herringbone hickory stripe fabric. For the left-hand twill warp, we use Manapur yarn, a slubby, extra-long staple cotton. For the right-hand twill warp, we use open-end yarn, which has fullness and resilience. We emphasize the characteristic that left-hand twill yarn tightens and right-hand twill yarn loosens and expands, creating a vintage-like texture that develops with each wash. For the weft, we use a cotton-hemp blend yarn, resulting in a dry and resilient texture.
【Design】 This American workwear prototype coverall features a stand collar with the first button positioned slightly lower, giving it a subtle V-neck look. Thanks to the hemp, it offers a superb softness and an enduring, relaxed wearability reminiscent of worn-in American vintage clothing. The warp and weft yarns are dyed with reactive dyes, so the colors will remain true.
