This is a micro-shadow gingham made from superfine 140/2 cotton and 21d/2 silk, with four threads of each used alternately in both warp and weft.
The silk yarn used is in its "raw" state, meaning the sericin protein layer has not been removed. This gives it a strong crispness similar to linen, unlike the typical image of silk.
By preshrinking the fabric, a difference in shrinkage rates between the cotton and silk is created, resulting in a finely textured surface with subtle irregularities.
【Design】
These are drawstring shorts with a slightly voluminous fit around the hips. The silk may fade slightly, and a "worn-in" look will develop with washing. Due to the risk of color transfer, please hand wash separately.
